Tabi's Goal Accomplished

Tabibeth wanted to get rid of her "baby bike" and get a big girl bike this summer.
She came up with a plan and with mom's help the task is in the past.  Thankfully the weather was nice on the day she chose to have her sale.
Thanks to many hungry and thirsty garage sale shoppers she met her goal. We are happy to say that she kept her perspective and paid tithing before she went on her shopping spree. It's been fun to see her finish what she set out to do.
Thanks to her big brother, Taylor, and Poppa she is now able to ride her bike all by herself.
We'd also like to make an honorable mentions to close family and friends who stopped by to buy some goodies. ie, Nichole Skinner who left a nice size tip. And to Ruth Van Blankenstein she was nice to buy enough cookies for each member of her family, 7.
Happy riding to you all.

Grandma Hazel...
My sister, Bridgette, thinks I'm a bit young to be following in her ways.
What does that mean? Well, I have started a new collection.
I figure I can pay for a new hair do every three months. Or get one that will last a lot longer.
It all started January 1, 2008, Randy and I went to the mall on a date.
For fun we thought I'd get a wig to go out in. It was red and long hair.
It's obviously not me. I have short hair. But it's fun to go out in and see peoples reactions.
I have even worn it to work a couple of times. It has mixed reviews in the office.
But, it makes my husband smile, and I'm all about keeping my man happy.
Just last week I found my self in the mall shopping for shoes for Tabi. I also looked for some for myself. Being a female, I had no problem finding some I liked.
But, then I thought I'd save the money and go get me another hairdo.
Tabi went with me. We had 90 minutes of fun. She picked some out for me to try. Helmut, the shop owner, called them "lemons", in other words, NO.
Then after quite a few I found "Erica". I liked it, and was sold. I told Helmut I had to go back up to work. He was kind enough and delivered my new purchase after getting it ready for me.
The next day I wore it to a wedding reception and got lots of compliments. I confessed to some my little secret. My mom could not even tell it was a wig.
This week rolled around and after some technical difficulties I now have another "Erica" in a slightly different color. So now we have a "hair-um" in our room.
Looks like I do have Grandma's genes, I like my nails done, speak honestly, and collect wigs.
It comes in handy for my new syndrome, LBS. Lazy Butt Syndrome.
Some have asked why not just wear a ball cap. Two words "Hat hair". Have you ever had to take off your hat to say a prayer? Well, I have and it was not pretty.
So to all of you where ever you are, my "wigs off to you".

Here I go, ready, set, Blog

Well, this blogging is new for me. If I don't get too irritated with the computer, then I might do more than one posting. I mainly wanted to do this so I can post more photos.
Seems like when I try to e-mail photos to people that the file is too big for the receiver. So this is my goal, share photos.
Lately I've taken so many pictures, that Trivette (almost 2) will look the other way when the camera comes out. I plan on taking many more, so he'll just have to deal with it. It's his fault that he's so dang cute and funny.
Well more to come.
